Micropep is building more sustainable agriculture for future generations

We are developing natural crop protection solutions based on the incredible potential of micropeptides; short natural protein molecules that target and regulate plant genes and proteins. We are building the next generation of sustainable solutions for farmers who care about their crops and the future of our planet.

Agricultural biotech with a global vision

Micropep was founded in 2016 as a spin-off of “LRSV”, a French plant research laboratory from the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and Toulouse University. To date, Micropep has raised nearly $25m from prominent European and US investors and has started its expansion in the USA in 2022.

Our team is led by Founder & CEO Thomas Laurent, Founder & Scientific Advisor Jean-Philippe Combier and Chief Technical Officer Mikael Courbot.
